Parties, masks, Beatles songs and flood:120,000 for the Carnival
A massive crowd today in Venice, the main event was the big masks parade in Saint Mark Square

VENICE. Cold and a little flood didn’t stop the Carnival people today on the main saturday of the big traditional party. According to the local police, 120,000 people were present. Eighty thousand arrived today, 40,000 were already here.
Impressive crowd all the day long. At 2 pm sold out the bus parking at Tronchetto. The main event was the big masks parade in Saint Mark Square. And tonight from 8,30 pm the Yellow Submarine show with all the Beatles greatest hits.
