VENICE - An extraordinary flood is expected tonight in Venice. The forecast is for 160 cm in the city, the third big event in the story. In Chioggia, a town in the countryside by the sea, the flood will arrive to 180 cm.
The snow has fallen all the day not only in Venice but also in the whole Veneto region, making many problems to the viability in the area. Lorries and trains where stopped by orders of the authorities.
